Pankaj Garg’s Post

Aortic blood flow exhibits a complex and distinctive multi-directional pattern. 4D flow MRI allows visualization and quantification of these complex flow signatures. However, could we use 2D-PC MRI to provide insight into these complex flow patterns in ascending aorta. The answer is not only YES, but, we can do this very precisely. We present the work titled, "Validation of 2D flow MRI for helical and vortical flows" which has just gone live in OpenHeart BMJ. ❗⬇️ LINK: https://lnkd.in/eT7pUMgw Thanks to the whole team including Zia, Hosam, Rob van der Geest and everyone else including collaborators to make this happen and constantly provide critical input to improve the methods.
