Police Association of New South Wales’ Post

On behalf of all members and supporters of the Police Association of NSW, we offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the QPOL member who had passed away whilst participating in the Wall to Wall memorial ride. The Senior Sergeant, part of the Queensland Contingent, was just outside Glenn Innes when the incident occurred. Policing, whilst broken into States and territories, is a national and international brother and sisterhood and this loss is felt by all of us. The Wall To Wall is a hallmark event to remember our fallen colleagues with thousands of police serving and retired riding from all over Australia to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities. The PANSW President has spoken with the Queensland Police Union of Employees and offered any assistance required. Please also keep in your thoughts those on the ride when this tragedy occurred and those who responded to the incident. The QPU president has asked all Queensland participants to ride on to Canberra in honour of our fallen brother and we echo those sentiments for all the NSW Participants who ride from Sydney and all over NSW later this week.
