Against the popular believe , BJP has failed to live upto the hype and is yet to achieve majority on its own in the assembly elections. The mandate clearly shows the power of democracy and how misuse of authority can turn the tides. I strongly believe the opression of middle class and salaried individuals through tax policies has contributed to the decline of ongoing government. They may still continue to hold the power but now they will definitely give a second thought before imposing policies on general people #elections #INDIA #BJP #Congress #middleclass #taxpolicies

For a quarter of a century, I have been trying to understand the political behaviour of the people. Throughout this journey, I have meticulously studied and made projections for 23 elections, achieving remarkable accuracy in 20 of these instances. However, the political landscapes of 2009 and 2017, particularly in Uttar Pradesh (UP), served as stark reminders of the unpredictable nature of electoral politics. These instances underscored a fundamental truth I have come to accept: while it's possible to predict electoral outcomes with a degree of certainty, the element of surprise inherent in elections remains beyond our predictive grasp. #politicalconsulting #elections #politicalanalysis #riskanalysis #votingmatters

At least three dozen leaders, including sitting members of parliament from different parties, have joined the ruling party in recent months. This assumes significance considering the 370-seat target set by the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the party and 400-plus seats for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2024 elections. This includes at least 16 from the Congress party. We took a look at 10 high-profile Congress turncoats in the BJP and their past electoral performances. #Congress #LokSabhaElections2024 #Elections2024 #BJP #turncoats #elections #politicsnews #politics #news https://lnkd.in/g9BJqbXx
