Team APNA is actively promoting awareness of the Right to Education Act, 2009, Section 12(1)(c), which requires private schools to reserve 25% of entry-level seats for children from disadvantaged groups and economical weaker sections. Through initiatives like camps and audio-equipped rickshaws, we’re spreading the word and fostering awareness across Jharkhand to mobilise support and ensuring the provision’s implementation. #rte #childreneducation #righttoeducation #socialwork #educationforsocialjustice #jharkhand #indianeducation

Education is about empowerment, not punishment. By ensuring that children progress without fear of failure disrupting their education, Tamil Nadu sets an example in nurturing confidence and inclusivity in young minds. The Union government's move to reintroduce detention in Classes 5 and 8 could disproportionately impact children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. At School to Lead, we stand with Tamil Nadu’s approach to protect these students’ right to education, emphasizing constructive interventions like additional instruction and remedial measures rather than punitive detention. Let's strive for an education system where every child feels supported, not left behind. In Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district, the Pardhi community is grappling with the possible closure of their only school under the National Education Policy 2020. This critical institution serves a nomadic community that already struggles with access to education. With over 14,000 schools in the state potentially impacted, this could further marginalize children who depend on local schools for primary education. 🔥 Shameful Reality in Indian Education: Are We Failing Our Children? 🔥 A heartbreaking incident at Shyamraji High School in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh, has surfaced—over 50 children were forced to sit outside under the scorching sun because their parents hadn’t paid school fees. The principal, Shailesh Kumar Tripathi, defends this inhumane action. Is this what education has come to in 2024? Children should never be punished for something beyond their control. This isn't just about one school; it's about a system failing our kids. Where is the empathy, responsibility, and leadership? Let’s stop putting money before education and treat children with the dignity they deserve. #EducationCrisis #SaveOurChildren #IndianEducation #EmpathyMatters #ReformNow #FutureLeaders #ChildRights #EducationalReform #EqualityInEducation #BreakTheCycle #LeadershipInEducation #Accountability #ChildrenFirst #RespectAndDignity #EducationForAll #EmpowerTheYouth #Injustice #UpliftEducation #IndiaNeedsChange #NoChildLeftBehind

📚 Today, on World Day Against Child Labour, let's shine a light on a crucial issue: the right to education for every child. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive without the burden of child labour. At Ekam Foundation Mumbai, we believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. Most of the children we support through Ekam’s EEP program suffer from constant pressure created by the burden of poverty, which results in young children needing to discontinue school, taking up jobs in so-called ‘non-hazardous’ areas just to keep their family afloat. That's why we're committed to providing support through scholarships and funding educational expenses of underprivileged children, especially girls, who are at risk of dropping out of school due to economic hardships. Education empowers children to break the cycle of poverty, pursue their dreams, and build a better tomorrow for themselves and their communities. Together, let's ensure that every child has the chance to receive a quality education and reach their full potential. 📝🎓 #EmpowerChildren #RightToEducation #ChildrenInSchool #ChildrenInIndia #YouthOfIndia #IndianStudents #IndianEducationSystem #EmpowerAdolescents #MumbaiNGO #EducationNGO #WorldDayAgainstChildLabour
