A couple of months ago, one of our AVs triggered a job promotion. How did this happen? Through the reallocation of labor. By taking on supply runs between two buildings, our AV was able to free up a worker from repetitive tasks, allowing them to take on more valuable and fulfilling responsibilities. This years seems to be a year of guide robots. Another interesting project of indoor navigation tool. They will be showing their device at CSUN (unfortunately I won't be there) and beta tests are planned soon. The interesting thing is that navigating is passive, i.e. the user pushes the device. In my article that soon should be available at AccessibilityOz blog I suggest that a robot should slightly pull the user.
