My church rents out part of its facilities to a pre-school. They have inspirational messages placed throughout the building. The first one that caught my eye said, "Word hard and be nice to people." What a simple, but powerful statement. And I think it's obvious that it's not just relevant to pre-schoolers. While we all hopefully try to follow that advice, let's be nice by recognizing another group of Nice Guys and Gals. Every Friday, I’ll share nominations for people who have been identified as nice guys (and gals). If you want to nominate someone, just shoot me a private message by 5:00 EST on Thursday. There are only 3 requirements: 1) you have to be connected to the person you nominate 2) you can only nominate one person per week 3) you can’t nominate yourself 😀   If you want to provide a brief reason for your selection, that’s great, but it’s not a requirement. 4th Of July Rules. 1. Only use fireworks in a safe place authorized for fireworks. Never in a residential neighborhood. 2. Always have a professional or someone trained to light and be responsibility for the fireworks. 3. Do not use or light fireworks near any automobiles or fuel. 4. Always think Safety First. Have viewers located a safe distance away. Aim fireworks up in the sky and not horizontal towards viewers. Always have fire extinguishers and first aid kits nearby. 5. If your drunk uncle, aunt or friend says, "Hey, Look here" or "Lets try this and see what happens" then run inside as fast as you can!

Now that's a very interesting observation from this professional champion.
