Founder & CEO at Partake Foods

It's an honor to be a part of this year’s Inc. Magazine #FemaleFounders 250 in great company with so many friends tagged below. Partake Foods is built in community and collaboration. It takes a village and I am grateful to those who are with me on the journey. Being a founder is a whole life commitment. If I can impart anything to those thinking of jumping in the pool: ✨ Having a peer community and advisors you trust are critical. Build a community that understands what you're experiencing and has your best interests at heart. ✨ Starting small is often better. Gives you an ability to test and learn, be nimble, get in front of consumers and really make your product what people will want. ✨ The "playbook" isn't always best for your business because times have changed/each business is so different. ✨ It's a marathon, not a sprint. Taking care of your mental, physical and emotional health are so important. ✨ You have to be all-in. This will take a huge part of your life on a micro and macro level. Congrats to all including: Sabeena Ladha, Beatrice Dixon, Vanessa Pham, Kim P., Dana Kim, Jolene Delisle, Elise Smith, April Koh, Rosa Li, Becca Millstein, Lauren Picasso, Michelle Razavi, Jacqueline Tatelman, Kara Nortman, Marina Larroudé, Karen Rabinowicz See the full 250 list: https://lnkd.in/g7Ut6s2U

Each reflection you've shared resonates deeply, from the importance of having a supportive community to recognizing that entrepreneurship is indeed a marathon, not a sprint. 💙 It warms my heart to see women founders leading the way and generously sharing their entrepreneurial journeys. I believe it's crucial for us to share our experiences, not only to reassure those already on the journey that they're on the right path, but also to provide aspiring founders with a realistic understanding of the dedication required. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and insights, Denise Woodard!
