One of the most demanding aspects of working in hospitality, especially in entertainment, is effectively managing expectations. Being a part of busy hotels or high-volume venues, balancing the needs and desires of customers and staff can be quite the juggling act. I embarked on this journey for 16 years during my tenure in Vegas working at the #1 party destination on the planet the Palms Hotel & Casino and the later part of my career working at Caesars Entertainment. With numerous daily and nightly variables that are thrown your way not one day or night is ever the same. Mastering the art of embracing chaos is essential. Hospitality, it's not just a job—it's a lifestyle, where you play the role of a composer leading an orchestrator. Additionally, problem-solving stands out as a critical skill to cultivate, honed through experience. There are always strategies to navigate challenges and find solutions. Here's to a productive Hospitality Thursday! #urvenue #hospitality #chaos #vegas #florida #nightlife #daylife #hotels

Here is some real talk! As a hospitality company, it's not just about providing a service; it's about creating memorable experiences, showing genuine care, and going above and beyond to make our guests feel truly welcome and valued. I was at a company this week that wouldn't bring extra towels to the guest! Although it's inconvenient for you, as a manager, you are providing a hospitality service! Do better!! #HospitalityRedefined #GuestExperienceMatters #WeValueYourFeedback

We are heading toward the weekend, and usually it will be a busy period for most hotels and restaurants workers. So, what can you do for yourself and your entity to make a small tiny progress both personally and professionally? Let's play this game: Set for yourself any target or any KPI and go intentionally this weekend to achieve it. It could be: Serving customers faster, Following up with more in house guests and ask them about their stay. Focus on being a better team player. Assist my teammates in their tasks. Go beyond my tasks and do more for the hotel/restaurant. Choose anything and work to achieve. By the end of the weekend, evaluate yourself, and repeat it whenever you want. that's how you will keep adding value to your career, your company, and your colleagues. Have a Great Weekend #hospitality #foodandbeverage #hospitalitymanagement #hospitalitycoaching #hospitalitymentoring #hospitalitytraining #peopledevelopment #hotels #restaurants

Love this guy! Scott Turner right there with you. Hoteliers making bold choices for their restaurant concepts only strengthens the eco system in which it resides. You can be a hotel with a destination restaurant, it’s time to change the old narrative, it’s a limiting belief which is restricting profitability and creating a profit centre rather than a p&l drain. Yes, it means more labour overhead and certainly marketing and associated costs but with that comes increased spend, increased covers, importantly increased occupancy (if you get it really right!) and ADR when you have a point of difference in your market space.
Rewriting the Rules of Hotel F&B | Founder of Award-Winning Auden Hospitality | Podcast Host | International Keynote Speaker
Three reasons why hotel F&B isn't profitable. ➡️ It's seen as a service function to the rooms. ➡️ The concept is too 'safe' and predictable. ➡️ Process kills innovation and agility It's time to change that And I am on a mission to help hoteliers Look at F&B differently Because after 15 years in hotels And 9 in independent restaurants I have seen that by acting like independents You can make your F&B team 🚀🚀🚀 Who's with me? 🙋🏼♂️ #innovation #success #future #hospitality #hotels

"Creating Memorable Guest Experiences: It's All in the Details"✨ In hospitality, the magic truly lies in the small details. Paying attention to these can transform an ordinary stay into a positively memorable experience for guests. Ritz-Carlton is a prime example well known for its tailored customer service, where personalization is at the forefront. Employees are taught to remember the names and preferences of guests. For example, if a guest identifies a special event during the check-in process, the hotel might pleasantly surprise them with a personalized message or a free dessert, enhancing their stay and making it memorable. Disney Parks meticulously crafts every aspect of the guest experience, from cleanliness to themed decorations. The My Disney Experience app monitors preferences and provides customized plans based on personal interests. Disney enhances the magic of every visit by carefully designing every detail, ensuring lasting memories for guests. These companies demonstrate how paying attention to minor details can turn an ordinary visit into a memorable experience. Which specific details made your travels memorable? Feel free to share your experiences in the comments section. 😊 #HOTL752 #Hospitalitymanagement #customerservice #RitzCarlton #DisneyParks #HospitalityExcellence #SaraHarrel
