🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 I am thrilled to share that my recent research work, "DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A DUAL POWERED AIR COMPRESSOR FOR TYRE INFLATION", co-authored with a senior Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, has been published in the International Journal of Recent Research in Civil and Mechanical Engineering (IJRRCME)! 🎉 This project focuses on providing dual power sources – solar energy and grid supply – aimed at benefiting underdeveloped countries with unstable power supply. Additionally, we have integrated an embedded control system to automate the compressor's operation, with the control logic written in C/C++. As a software and Electrical/Electronic engineer, my main contribution was designing the electrical and embedded systems for the compressor. 🔌 Bringing High Voltage Engineering to Life! ⚡ This week, we immersed ourselves in the dynamic world of High Voltage Engineering through practical experiments at our Institute’s high voltage laboratory. Adhering to strict safety procedures, we explored critical concepts that drive innovation in the Electrical Engineering field. Here’s a snapshot of our experience: 1️⃣ AC Voltage Generation and Measurement – Gaining hands-on skills in creating and measuring alternating currents essential for power systems. 2️⃣ Disruptive Discharge Voltage Testing on Solid Insulators – Testing material strength to understand breakdown phenomena. 3️⃣ Partial Discharge and Corona Analysis – Identifying and interpreting early indicators of insulation weaknesses to ensure system reliability. 4️⃣ DC Voltage Generation and Measurement – Experimenting with direct current technologies fundamental to modern applications.
