I saw this on a timeline of one the heroes I serve by guiding him on a once in a lifetime hunt for exotic invasive species. Many of you that know me have heard me call my self “the tip of the spear” for our company. When I say that, I am not telling you that I am a marine raider. I am not. Although; like them I am standing on all the backs of the giants that have come before me. #Mentorship I too follow the path forged before me which includes: #Determination, #Dependability, and #Teamwork it also includes #Service #Love #Kindness #Patience and #LongSuffering If you’ve seen me in your market you understand it’s not my native market. You also understand that I do make it a point to get there first and clean house as the last of us leave. 🐘 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 🐘 "A remarkable video has been making the rounds, showcasing a powerful lesson in humanity from the animal kingdom. An elephant, poised to attack a lioness, suddenly stops upon realizing she is protecting her cubs. The elephant withdraws, demonstrating a profound understanding of the lioness's maternal instincts. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: By choosing not to attack, the elephant shows us the importance of kindness and mercy in our interactions. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹: The elephant's restraint is a testament to the power of self-control and thoughtful decision-making. No matter how hungry the lion becomes, it can never eat grass. That's a popular saying. The meaning of that statement dawned on me more deeply than it ever had. Firstly, lions and their families, like leopards and even cats, represent self-confidence. This is why life would send you a Leo ♌️ born or person with Leo placements when you need some doses of self-confidence, esteem, and worth. The statement above is about sticking with your authentic self, no matter the terrain. It means not watering yourself down because the terrain doesn't look good. What makes the lion feared in the animal kingdom is that it advances with confidence, not necessarily that it is the strongest. It doesn't cower. That level of insistence is sometimes needed to stick it out with your authentic self and what you know you should be doing until the terrain changes for you. So stick it out, no matter the outside pressure. Don't forget who you are. Even lions in the midst of sheep can start behaving like sheep in as much bravery is within their genes. Unless it realises what it is, it keeps being like a sheep. So, remember who you are, or don't forget who you are as the case may be. 💚💚 Words - Chinwendu P. Which is more important for our survival - "The Amazon" or Amazon Prime? Humans have slaughtered 90% of Africa's lions in the last 100 years, 20,000 remain out of 200,000 and within a decade or so the fragmented survivors will not have the genetic diversity or the wild habitat required for the species to survive. Most of Africa's wildlife, fauna and flora share the same trajectory to extinction and globally most countries share the same trajectory as they follow the myth of perpetual economic and population growth. https://lnkd.in/eVVkXxbq If there is a solution (big if) humanity must understand one simple fact: Humans will be next! We can not survive on a planet without the life giving ecosystem services nature and biodiversity provide. Fresh water, www.goesfoundation.com food, stable climate, pest control, medicines and building materials all come from nature, not "Amazon Prime"! https://lnkd.in/e28zXsWd

How to stay motivated ? In the jungle which animal is the : Biggest .... Elephant ? Tallest ....... Giraffe.? Wisest ...... Fox ? Fastest ...... Cheetahs ? Yet, the Lion is the KING of the jungle even without ANY of these qualities.!! Why?? Because.. The Lion is courageous, bold, walks with confidence, dares anything and is never afraid. The Lion believes he is unstoppable. The Lion is a risk taker. The Lion believes any animal is food for him. The Lion believes any opportunity is worth giving a try and never lets it slip from his hands. - What is it that we get to learn from the Lion ?? • You don't need to be the fastest. • You don't need to be the wisest. • You don't need to be the smartest. • You don't need to be the most brilliant. • All you need is courage • All you need is the will to try • All you need is the faith to believe it is possible. • All you need is to believe in yourself, that you can do it. It's TIME to bring out the Lion in you. Once a KING, always a KING!!! #life #nature #lessons #king #ididit #beaservant

A dose of goosebumps from this tale, and a reminder of the transformative power of kindness: how it can connect us, as a universal language, whatever our differences. And a reminder of what magic, and potential impact, we might forfeit should we choose to walk on by, instead of stopping to help where we can*. "...A fisherman who was fishing east of the Farallon Islands (just outside of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California) spotted a whale who was completely entangled in a fishing net. He radioed for help and within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that the whale was so badly tangled that the only way to save her was to dive in, cut the ropes and untangle her…. a very dangerous proposition as one slap of the tail could kill a rescuer. They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her. When she was free, the divers described how she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, nudged them, and pushed gently, thanking them. Some said that it was the most incredibly beautiful experience they had ever had. The person who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was following him the entire time and he will never be the same. May you be so fortunate as to be surrounded by people who will help you get untangled from the things that are binding you. And, may you always know the joy of giving and receiving help - and gratitude..."* *Credit: Diem Andrea Jones National Geographic Nature #sundaythoughts #goosebumps #kindnessmatters #humanity #helpinghand #empathy #reciprocity #makeadifference #connection #youcanmakeadifference #bethedifference #peopleandculture #reachout #reallife #inspiration #aspiration

In the flight of starlings, there’s a lesson for humanity. When starlings gather in murmurations, they create a unified front—each bird responding to its neighbors to create beautiful, harmonious, and protective patterns. This unity makes them stronger and safer from predators. Imagine if we, as humans, could take a page from these birds. If we could stand together, move together, and support one another against those who spread fear, terror, or hatred. Let’s learn from the starlings: Strength and beauty come when we support each other. Together, we can stand against those who seek to divide and harm, creating a world that’s safer and more peaceful for all.

In moments of crisis, the true spirit of humanity shines brightest as kind-hearted individuals rally together to lend a helping hand. Such a heartwarming scene unfolded recently as a stranded whale found itself ensnared on the treacherous rocks of the shoreline. Without hesitation, compassionate souls from the community sprang into action, their collective efforts a testament to the power of unity and compassion. With each passing moment, the crowd grew larger, fueled by a shared determination to rescue the majestic creature from imminent danger. Working as one, they devised a plan and pooled their resources, leveraging their combined strength to free the whale from its perilous predicament. As they toiled tirelessly, the bonds of camaraderie and goodwill only grew stronger, transcending barriers of age, race, and background. In the end, their perseverance paid off as the whale was finally liberated, ushered back into the embrace of the vast ocean. This heartening display of community solidarity serves as a poignant reminder that when we come together with empathy and compassion, there is no challenge too great to overcome. As Helen Keller once said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." In the selfless actions of these individuals, we find hope, inspiration, and the unwavering belief in the power of collective kindness to make a difference in the world.
