These last two weeks have been a great period to recuperate energy⚡ in an otherwise hectic weekday schedule. There are plenty of things to still learn 💡 about the AGV and the Intra Logistics community but I had the possibility to take couple of valuable days off to spend with family doing outdoors activities. This time it was alpine skiing⛷, which is a popular past time in Sweden in winter time, as well as a couple of days starting up the spring activities around the family home. 🌞 Really recharging the batteries, or rather, using energy in a different way and letting the week day brain rest. Having the possibility to take time off for vacation as well as it being considered valuable from the employer perspective is a testament to a long term pragmatic approach between employer organizations as well as employee representation through unions. Both sides considering what is best for both as an investment rather than a purely transactional approach. A continuous dialogue around productivity, efficiency and international competitiveness. 🇸🇪 Or as a previous manager once told me "Your kids are only kids for a short time. You will regret not using the opportunity." 👨👩👧👦

Today, someone said to me, "Welcome to the world where holidays are working holidays." It made me pause for a moment. They weren’t wrong—I do find myself working during what others might call “time off.” But here’s the thing: I’m genuinely okay with that. Not because I think everyone should do it (quite the opposite!), but because I love what I do. Every minute I spend developing We Racing feels like a step toward something bigger, something I truly believe in. As I prepare for my summer holiday in the tropics starting tomorrow, I’ve been reflecting on how much I enjoy what I do. Even while planning for a break, I find myself tying up loose ends and thinking about new ideas for the team. But it doesn’t feel like a burden—it feels exciting. It’s a privilege to work on something that brings this much joy, even as I pack my bags for a well-earned escape (with Smokey, my kitten, already claiming my suitcase as his new throne). That said, I’m not here to suggest this is the way for everyone. Holidays are a time to recharge, and I fully respect those who take the opportunity to unplug completely. For me, though, the blend of work and passion is what keeps me motivated. It’s not about pressure or obligation; it’s about fulfilment and purpose. As Ayrton Senna once said, "Racing, competing, it's in my blood. It's part of me; I have been doing it all my life and it stands out above everything else." I relate to that. 😉 #WeRacing #Motorsport #PassionForRacing #WorkAndLife #Entrepreneurship #Motivation #Leadership #WorkWithPurpose #MotorsportMarketing #DoWhatYouLove

Summer time ☀️ is vacation time 🏖...I ♥️ it as I can spend more time with my beloved ones, reflect on work with some distance and think about what can/should be done next. For me personally it is important not only to do nothing, but also to be active 💪🏽 during holidays. There is nothing better than enjoying sunrise 🌅 in the morning, exercising a bit 👟, having a great breakfast 🥐🥣 and starting the day fully energized... This time of the year helps me to focus on the challenges ahead and to recharge my batteries🔋... How do holidays help you and what do you do to keep your focus and energy level high during vacation?

🌴✈️ Be Intentional About Your Holidays! 🌞📅 After a dynamic first half of the year, I decided this summer was the perfect time to switch gears and be truly intentional about my holidays. While setting goals for my time off was key, I made sure not to treat them like a typical to-do list. Instead, I aimed to make the most of my time off in a meaningful way. Here’s what unfolded: 📚 Spark Curiosity Through Books - Diving into everything from Virginia Woolf's deep reflections to the history of wine not only expanded my knowledge but also opened my mind to new ways of thinking. 👧🐶 Quality Moments with My Daughter and Our New Puppy - We explored, laughed, and cherished each discovery together. 👫 Deepening Connections - Long talks and hearty laughs with close friends were the perfect way to refresh. 🌿 Mindful Reconnection with Nature - The endless forests provided not just a backdrop for Shinrin-yoku but a silent teacher on the importance of being present. Back at work today, I’m energized and full of new ideas. Taking time off isn’t just a break from work; it’s about enriching all facets of life to come back stronger. How do you make the most of your time off to recharge? #WorkLifeBalance #Valamis #FinnishSummer

Ever tackled work on vacation? I did it in Iceland two years ago. Meant to be a chill escape, but a big client project pulled me in. Mornings were all hustle—work calls, emails, and deadlines. But afternoons? Pure adventure—exploring epic landscapes and soaking in hot springs. For small business owners, the grind never stops. But guess what? Boundaries are your best friends. That trip taught me that. Set clear times for work and fun. Stay productive and still enjoy precious moments with family. During that trip, I realized how crucial it is to recharge. When you have those relaxed moments, creativity flows and fresh ideas pop up. Entrepreneurs, find your balance. Your business needs you at your best, and that means taking care of yourself too. So, if you’re working on vacation, draw those lines. Relax and recharge. Return with fresh energy and brilliant ideas. 🌌✨ Happy 4th of July! 🎆 Let’s celebrate our freedom and entrepreneurial spirit! 🇺🇸✨ Embrace the power to thrive and conquer.
