Getting buy-in on your ideas or insights (particularly in large forums) can be challenging. Here's how you can do it effectively: ⛳ Ensure the accuracy of your data, solid understanding of the core problem and clear definition of high level objectives to create actionable insights that build trust and equity. ➕ Craft a positive narrative that focuses on achieving a win-win outcome. Remember to present the "So What" of your ideas, rather than the "Because Of." If your stakeholders do not trust your intent, then they will never side with you. 📈 Present data and insights in a way that is easily comprehensible and actionable for your stakeholders. Following the debrief with a debrief - thoughts? Definitely agency side, sometimes even client side. Imagine the research process is at its conclusion. You've crafted the story, delivered the findings and even made some recommendations from what the data is telling you (or at least prompts and questions for the client) But then what? Lots of interest, pleasantries and thanks exchanged. And then??? Did the insights get used? What decisions were made off the back of it? Was it just interesting? Following up a month later to understand the impact could be key. What actions were taken and if no action, why? A great piece of research should have lasting impact. Should there be a follow up? Or does the responsibility for action just fall on the end client? #insights #impact #anotherdebrief
