This interesting article examines whether businesses that focus too much on maintaining employee wellbeing stifle their engagement. This is due to these businesses potentially playing it safe to avoid any risks that may harm morale, which may in turn cause teams to become stagnant and ultimately experience burnout. Instead, the best businesses are those that use proactive and motivated leaders to identify ways to maximise wellbeing and engagement at the same time.
