Happy Presidents Day In honor of our presidents past and present, I looked at polls done by unaffiliated and nonpartisan organizations, and I decided to use C-Span’s last polling outcomes from 2021: https://lnkd.in/eSgkwBSa A common thread we see in their presidencies is their ability to face monumental challenges to our nation successfully and make a lasting impact on its future. It’s interesting how these presidents come from differing backgrounds, political parties, and historical contexts. None were perfect, nor did they survive the criticisms lobbed at them when viewed through a contemporary lens. They led through wars, conflicts, and social upheaval. Their leadership during pivotal moments in American history, their ability to inspire an idealized vision of America, and their unifying voice contributed to their enduring legacies. Please do not post your own top ten list nor enter a debate; instead, I ask that you think about the core tenets of great presidents and feel free to share your thoughts on the attributes of great leadership. Here are a few to get you started: · Clarity of vision and purpose · Skilled Communicator · Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and accountability · Courage and conviction · Prioritizing the needs of others The Top Ten Presidents, as seen in the 2021 C-Span polling and their rankings since 2000.
