Yesterday I posted an example of what happens with teams that don't work together BUT what does it look like when it's done right? Watch the Ohio State marching band - what 'coordinated flow' looks like, all literally marching to the same destination in unison with the same goal. MORE SO, notice how the crowd comes to applause once they figure out what is happening... this is exactly what flow does for you and your organizations. The onlookers don't get it... until they get it. Go get build some flow into your lives or the organization you impact and start today (you don't have to be a VP to do it).

Ever heard of Dwight Eisenhower? If not, you're going to want to watch 'til the end. Let me introduce you to the Eisenhower Matrix: my go-to strategy for setting my priorities throughout the week. It's far more simple than you think - just a 2x2 square that helps you determine what is both urgent AND important. These tasks go to the top of our priorities list and help shape our day/week in a way that keeps us on task. I know what you're thinking, "how can a square do all that?" Trust me, it's worth a try! Check out my latest reel to see me apply this matrix in my own life.

July is the perfect time to pause, reflect, and review as you reset your goals, refine your strategies, and celebrate your wins. This process helps you assess your progress, make necessary adjustments, and realign your focus to better position yourself for the second half of the year. In this month's blog, I share tips I learned from my love of basketball. Basketball, like life and business, is a game of strategy, adaptation, and perseverance. I couldn't think of a better metaphor to drive this point home. Consider this an assist in setting up a winning strategy to take your personal and business endeavors to the next level and beyond. Click the link below to get started. P.S. I would love to hear your thoughts on this month’s blog. Please share in the comments or drop me a DM.

How many times have we felt like we are navigating without a clear direction? That happens when you have not found your purpose for doing what you do (this happens to organizations as well). Recently during a workshop in Bangkok I realized I love what I do because everyday I walk into my purpose. Enjoy this video as a visual demonstration: https://lnkd.in/gssvU8Ej

What's one lesson you've learned in your career that you wish you knew sooner? Lessons from the Event World: Embrace the Unexpected! Imagine planning a big event, everything seems perfect, but then chaos strikes. That's what happened at a gala I organized. Technical issues, cancellations—everything that could go wrong did. But instead of panicking, we got creative. We fixed problems on the fly and still pulled off an amazing event. That night taught me a vital lesson: when things go wrong, it's not about avoiding failure, but how you bounce back. Now, I'd love to hear your event stories and the lessons they taught you. Let's learn and grow together! 👇 #EventLessons #RollWithThePunches #GrowTogether

"Your value does not decrease because of someone's inability to see your worth." What an amazing statement, especially coming from a soccer referee! I watched this on my way home from work, and in a short time, I learned strategies on how not to take things personally. Working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with our coworkers, we sometimes tend to take their words or actions personally. Maybe they were on their phones while we were discussing something important or started talking to someone else while we were mid-conversation. Or maybe it wasn’t a coworker—perhaps a customer got upset over an issue and said something hurtful. These moments can feel personal. But watching this video put me at ease because it reminded me that not everything is about me. I learned to try looking at situations from the other person's perspective. For example, maybe the client had a terrible day, and the issue with our service worsened their situation. Who knows, right? It's not about me. Another strategy mentioned in the video intrigued me, but I don’t want to share everything here—you might miss out on all the great insights shared in the video. Watch it! It’s really interesting! https://lnkd.in/gEr35w5Y
