I've had the opportunity to sit in on a few of the readout sessions with customers and the results are out of this world 🚀 Modernising apps brings a heap of value in cost savings and forward looking innovation but often the juice 🍊 just isn't worth the squeeze for banks. Leveraging MongoDB Atlas, professional services and GenAI, Bendigo were able to modernise it's legacy retail banking in 90% quicker, at 1/10th the cost 😮 Excited to see where this takes us in ANZ Banking!

Paypal has plenty of #kafka projects for many critical and analytical workloads. In this use case, it scales the Kafka Consumer for 30-35 Billion events daily to migrate its analytical workloads to the public #cloud. A streaming application ingests the events from Kafka directly into BigQuery. This is a critical project for PayPal as most analytical readouts are based on this. The outcome of the data warehouse modernization and building a #cloudnative architecture: Reduce the time for readouts from 12 hours to a few seconds.
