💡 How can we build better with less using carbon prestressed concrete?   Carbon prestressed concrete, or CPC, is high-strength concrete reinforced with prestressed carbon fibers.   Holcim uses a patented technology to create thin, precast concrete plates that have the potential to change the game for low-carbon, circular construction.   CPC offers material savings of up to 75% and reduces CO2 emissions by two to three times.   Our CPC panels were used to build the Grüze Innovation Laboratory – one of the world's first CPC buildings.   The building is modular, meaning it can be modified and expanded in the coming years.
