Maintenance without proper design is ineffective or impossible. Using Authority-recommended outdated tools (not mine) it's impossible to integrate modeling, design, construction (and maintenance). Consequences? We continue to spend millions on: - mosquito-infested - weed-ridden - blocked with sediment Sedbasins, bioretentions, wetlands, GPTs. It's alarming: we pay millions for the privilege of being bit by mosquitoes in eyesores. The solution? Integrated modelling, design, construction and maintenance (unfortunately only our tools do that). This whole debacle could have been avoided by designig/building the GPT with maintenance in mind and spending like $2k every few months. Fixing it now? Dunno, half a mil?
