Driving in August, especially during peak summer hours, requires special attention. Here are a few tips for road trips: - Check Vehicle Condition: Check tire pressure, brakes, fluid levels, and ensure all lights work properly. - Plan for Heat: Use sun shades for your windows and air conditioning to stay cool. Bring enough water for everyone in the vehicle. - Watch for Traffic: August can be a busy time on the roads due to summer travel. Plan your route to avoid peak travel times. - Secure Luggage: If you packed suitcases, make sure they won’t shift during the trip and cause distractions. #AutoDriveaway #Driveaway #Trucking #TransportLogistics #VehicleTransport #TruckTransport #DriversOnDemand #TransportLogisticsDelivered

Which type of road tripper are you? The driver. You like to be leading the charge at the wheel. The navigator. You’re the wingman or woman in the passenger seat directing the driver. Think Chewbacca! The planner. You’re mapping out the route, the stops for snacks, the landmarks to see along the way. The napper: Your head hits a pillow, and you’re napping from the moment the car starts until you get to the destination. I’m the planner before we leave and the napper once we get going! I plan all our RV routes but have been know to sleep through most of the drive! Which one are you? Or maybe you’re a combination of a few. Share with me in the comments, and happy. #TripPlanning #TravelAgent #TravelAgent #RoadTripRoles #DriverOrNavigator #RoadTripPlanner #NapTimeOnTheRoad #RVAdventures

Driving on New Zealand roads after dark can come with it's own set of challenges 🌃 whether you're travelling the countryside or navigating bustling city streets, mastering the art of night driving is essential for a safe and enjoyable journey. Tip #1 - Know how to use your headlights 🔦 Dipping your lights in poor weather and when approaching or following traffic can help you to be seen and avoid blinding other road users. Tip #2 - Fatigue can sneak up on you, especially at night 😴 Drowsiness impairs reaction times, judgment and concentration so take regular breaks and use lane safety assist systems where possible to provide warnings. Tip #3 - Control that accelerator! Roads that seem familiar in the day, can feel very different at night. It can be difficult to judge distance and speed accurately, so it's important to adjust your speed and stay within your lane. With warm weather and blue skies ahead, it’s time to put the top down and head to the beach. 🏖 The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has some tips on how to stay safe on the road, in and out of the Sunshine State. Whether you’re heading out to work or on a summer getaway, vehicle safety is just as important in the summer. Here are the 8 top tips for summer touring: 1. 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 by checking your tire pressure, tire tread, and rotating your tires. If your tread is worn down, get a new set. 🚗 2. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 as sun exposure damages headlight clarity, and can cause clouding. 🚨 3. 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿 when it’s hot out. 🔥 4. 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲! The air around your car isn’t crash-tested. 🤳 5. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝘁, and make sure children are in the appropriate seat for their weight. 🐶 6. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲. 🛑 7. 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗽! Seatbelts save lives. ✔ 8. 𝗢𝗯𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀. With the sun out, and your playlist blasting, it’s easy to go too hard on the gas. 🚔 The best road trip has no bumps along the way, it's time to get out and enjoy the summer! #Florida #RoadSafety #Cardata
