Very happy to contribute to this interesting panel at ETIP PV - The European Technology & Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics next week in Brussels to discuss how future Common European Energy Data Spaces are key data exchange frameworks leveraging latest IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards to integrate residential PV self consumption with storage, #V2X leveraging growing revenues from Intraday wholesale markets and Dynamic Load Averaging Services. The fast deployment of PV through our Power Systems requires to rethink historical feed in tariff models now obsolete where solar electrons were highly valued whatever grid constraints into new self consumption schemes where prosumers will soon "autotrade" their surplus through energy communities and #flexibility service providers navigating through the price duck curve. Looking forward the development of such next self balancing district schemes through our French #Comflex project with SerenySun Energies Still time to register ! #VirtualPowerPlant #Kafka4Power #DEROrchestration #TSO-DSO #Flexibilitycode #HomeEnergyStation #EdgeAI smartEn Smart Energy Europe SolarPower Europe dcbel Digital4Grids Axual CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency Project EDDIE OneNet Project int:net project Local Energy Markets Alliance (LEMA) Catharina Sikow Mechthild Wörsdörfer Achille H. 🎤 I will be moderating a session and panel discussion on flexibility at the upcoming conference of ETIP PV - The European Technology & Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics. With Marion PERRIN (ENERGY POOL), Eric Quiring (SMA Solar Technology AG) and Gofran Chowdhury (3E) we will explore the services that PV can provide to the grid and how to remunerate them, hybridisation with wind and batteries, and complementarities with demand-side flexibility. And in the next session I will join Natalie Samovich (Enercoutim), Laurent Schmitt (dcbel, Digital4Grids) and Nikos Hatziargyriou (National Technical University of Athens) for a focus on data sharing and the energy data space 👩💻 . Registration is free: https://lnkd.in/dPdeVzCr. Looking forward! #brussels #PV #dataspace #flexibility

For those interested in #hydrogen opportunities, here's a terrific example of working with the government as a financial partner. AJW is adept in strategic advisory ("Should we participate, and what's in it for us?") and funding application advisory ("How can we submit a winning proposal?") to navigate such opportunities. How can AJW support your next move?
Director, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office, U.S. Department of Energy; and DOE Hydrogen Program Coordinator
DOE funding available: Deadline March 19 for Concept Papers. The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) is pleased to partner with the Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) within the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), U.S. Department of Energy on a pre-FEED topic on how #cleanhydrogen can integrate into industrial facilities. This could also offer opportunities for potential industries located near any of the seven #hydrogenhubs to use nearby clean hydrogen production and stimulate greater regional demand. Please help us to amplify and encourage strong proposals!!! Special shout out to: Tomas Green (HFTO), Avi Shultz (IEDO), Felicia R. Lucci, PhD (IEDO), and all involved. Professor Will Scheideler was awarded $250,000 by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s Small Innovative Projects in Solar (SIPS) Program toward a new method for fast and scalable manufacturing of reliable perovskite solar modules. "Using a different solar absorber material could lower the cost of solar energy while also improving performance," says Scheideler. "We're using a thin film perovskite material that's intrinsically well-suited for scaling up to meter-wide panels, but the challenge is figuring out how to make them stable. Scaling and stability are the two fundamental challenges, and we're trying to address both." Read more: https://bit.ly/3T2lC0z
