Some Baltimore Metro housing market numbers for you. We’re looking at year-over-year as of February 2024. Two big takeaways: 1) Even though volume has been down pretty consistently for quite a while, listing inventory is starting to increase. That should help buyers. 2) Median sold price increased 9.4% year-over-year in February. That helps sellers, who are still in the driver’s seat with only 1.39 months of supply. Why we door knock Real estate is all about how well you know your local market! And I mean down to the specific neighborhoods in each market. Door knocking may be slow, inefficient, outdated but the results come in the inefficiencies. Being boots on the ground we get a first hand view of the the neighborhood homes up close and personal. Style, remodeled or not, aging, decay or anything else you can't see in pictures. Besides just the physical aspects of the homes we get a first hand account on how the homeowners in that specific neighborhood feel about living there. You can't pull that data off the internet. We get an actual sense of how it is living there. The more we door knock the more the neighbors feel comfortable with us being in their neighborhood. Now some might never be comfortable with us that's okay! We want the people that eventually look to sell their prized asset, be assured that we have the best knowledge to get their home sold for the most amount and smoothest transaction. Real estate is all about building relationships and there's nothing better than face to face meetings to build that connection. Yeah it sucks to door knock when it's 100 degrees plus outside but that's not going to stop us.
