Building a product feels like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. UX is the edge pieces—defining the shape and structure. UI is the picture on each piece, making the whole thing look complete. Without UX, you don’t know where to start, and pieces don’t fit. Without UI, you’ve got a frame but no picture. Together, they complete the puzzle, creating a cohesive and beautiful product. https://hubs.ly/Q02F1fC20

In the world of product design, especially when dealing with dashboards and complex interfaces, designers often find themselves torn between creating a seamless, harmonious experience and intentionally adding friction to guide user behavior. Both friction and harmony play pivotal roles in shaping the user experience (UX), but they serve fundamentally different purposes. Understanding when to add friction and when to maintain harmony can be the key to designing effective, user-friendly dashboards. Contrary to common belief, friction isn’t always a flaw in UX design. Strategic friction can serve as a powerful tool to help users learn, adapt, and ultimately succeed within a product. Friction slows users down intentionally, giving them moments to pause, reflect, and understand what they are doing. Read my full post 👉 https://lnkd.in/gHp-G3Ai

Why User Interface Should Always be Centered on the User 🎨👥 In the ever-evolving world of UI design, one principle remains timeless: Specific design approaches include: User-Centered Design (UCD) 🌟. The strategy of user-centricity not only improves the user encounter but also boosts the level of participation and satisfaction with the design product. Finally, any UX design is all about identifying the users’ requirements, choices, and actions. Prioritizing their experiences helps to build interfaces that people like to interact with👍. It entails the application of market research, focus group discussions, questionnaires, and user interaction tests 📊. These form the foundation of each of the designs, so that what is finally produced is as suited to the users as is possible. Empathy is an important characteristic of UCD as well as inclusive design. Designers must put themselves in the users’ frame of mind to feel their pains and dream about their victories. This kind of thinking fosters solutions that are more comprehensible when received by the users. Contrary to what people find appealing to look at, it’s about practicing the design of real world issues to make lives better 🌍. Another practice of user-centered design is called iterative design 🔄. This way, every new redesign incorporates lessons from the previous interface, and the design is constantly updated to suit users’ needs. It is helpful in ensuring that the end product given to the users of the app is fine tuned, manageable and easy to use. Integrating UCD in the design provides a competitive advantage when undertaking a design in a competitive market 🌐. Consumer today are very demanding and they have many choices availed to them. Implementing a user-focused strategy for your product will help your UI be the standout because it is genuinely beneficial and enjoyable to use! It would be admirable to start integrating User-Centered Design into our projects as a normal process. Indeed, a great design that functions for the users is a design that triumphs 🔥. >#Design #Usability #UX #personacentereddesign #humanempathy

Developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) involves building the foundation for your product’s future success. This crucial early-stage version represents your product’s core offering, stripped down to its essential components to provide value, gain feedback, and validate assumptions. However, striking the right balance between features, functionality, and user experience (UX) at this early stage is challenging. Read our latest blog to learn how to design an MVP that is both practical and user-centric: https://lnkd.in/eJBJw9vR #MVP #Design #UX #Innovation #EarlyStage
