AI can offer institutions a competitive edge by improving #studentservices and by attracting international students who expect cutting-edge technology in their learning environments, writes Roy Daykin, a member of CampusWorks’ Executive Advisory Board, in a new column on "Managing the Risks and Rewards of AI in Postsecondary Education." Daykin, recently retired from his role as #CFO with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), writes: "At SAIT, we began experimenting with AI in our admissions and registration systems, which allowed us to better manage student data and course scheduling. EDUCATION TRENDS TO WATCH IN 2024 Day One of SXSW EDU is over and what an amazing array of terrific information that I'll try to distill in separate posts in the coming days.
