Military families already face numerous challenges, and adding hurdles to their children's healthcare is simply unfair. The National Defense Authorization Act or NDAA proposes changes that could make it harder for military families to access essential healthcare services for their kids. Here's why you should call your representatives and urge them to vote NO on the NDAA. 🏅Frequent Relocations Military families move every 2-3 years, disrupting their financial and personal stability. Finding new healthcare providers with each move is already a challenge. The NDAA would add unnecessary complications to an already difficult process. 🏅Deployment and Separation Deployments strain families emotionally and financially. The last thing they need is additional stress over healthcare access. Ensuring children receive consistent and comprehensive care, regardless of their location, is crucial. 🏅Variable Income Military pay can fluctuate, making it hard to budget for unexpected medical expenses. The NDAA could increase out-of-pocket costs, putting further strain on families who are already managing variable incomes. 🏅Access to Specialized Care Military families often struggle to find healthcare providers who understand their unique needs. The NDAA could limit access to specialized care, including gender-affirming care, which is not just for transgender children but also for those with other medical needs. 🏅Education and Career Challenges Spouses often face career interruptions due to relocations, impacting household income. Increased healthcare costs or reduced access to necessary services would add to the financial burden these families already face. 🏅Healthcare Costs While TRICARE provides healthcare, out-of-pocket expenses can still be significant. The NDAA could exacerbate these costs, making it harder for families to afford the care their children need. 🏅Retirement Planning Frequent relocations and career changes affect the ability to save consistently for retirement. Additional healthcare costs could further hinder military families' financial planning and stability. 📞Take Action Military families deserve our support, not additional obstacles. Call your senators and urge them to vote NO on the NDAA. Let them know that military families have enough on their plate without worrying about accessing essential healthcare for their children. Remember, gender-affirming care is vital for many children, not just those who are transgender. Conclusion. By opposing the NDAA, we can help ensure that military families receive the support and healthcare access they need. Let's make sure our senators understand the importance of protecting these families from unnecessary hardships. #SupportMilitaryFamilies #VoteNoOnTheNDAA #HealthcareForAllKids #MilitaryFamilyChallenges #ProtectOurChildren #GenderAffirmingCare #MilitaryLife #HealthcareAccess #StandWithMilitaryFamilies

House leadership is WRONG. The National Defense Authorization Act’s provision to take away health care from military families is not only cruel and insulting, it undermines military readiness. Tell your Senators to stop this bill and support our military families by texting VOTENO to 472472. https://lnkd.in/dMSNDU9E
