Mindset, Values and Beliefs! This is another wonderful example of the benefit of a positive mindset, values, beliefs, perseverance, dedication, determination, commitment, sacrifice..... and many other deserving complimentary descriptors, all of which are educated assumptions as I don't know Bryony Page OLY personally. Given the work Integral Leadership Dynamics - Inspire, Lead, Deliver partners on with several organizational individuals and teams globally, I believe some of these positive attributes, behaviors, characteristics and ways of being, might have been adopted by Bryony at some point in her professional sporting career. Whatever they were, and only Bryony Page OLY could tell us, I imagine these have served her well and played a significant part in her truly amazing achievements to progress from Olympic Bronze, to Silver, to Gold in three consecutive games, where so many others have and could sadly fade away..... At some point, as we shift from "good to great", it becomes less about our physical conditioning, skills and experience and more about our mindset, values and beliefs. I just stumbled upon this article by Sports Illustrated in which they've given their podium predictions across all 329 events at Paris 2024: they expect India to win just 6 medals in all (1S & 5B) - do you agree? Their prediction list includes the following contenders from India: 1) Neeraj Chopra (Silver - Javelin Throw) 2) Antim Panghal (Bronze - Wrestling) 3) Nikhat Zareen (Bronze - Boxing) 4) Aishwary Tomar (Bronze - Shooting) 5) Sandeep Singh and Elavenil Valarivan (Bronze - Shooting) 6) Sarabjot Singh and Manu Bhaker (Bronze - Shooting) In my opinion, the following prospects simply cannot be ignored: 1) Badminton: Men's Doubles & Women's Singles 2) Archery: Mixed Team Event 3) Shooting: 1-2 more individual events 4) Hockey: Men's Team 5) Wrestling: Women's 50kg My prediction (slightly optimistic) for India at Paris 2024 is of 11 overall Medals (2G, 3S, 6B) - what's yours? https://lnkd.in/dtQZYXPN

European Para Championships receives extended patronage from European Paralympic Committee The European Paralympic Committee has renewed its patronage to the European Para Championships, providing crucial support in various capacities. This support includes the endorsement of the Games stamp, facilitating communication with European Paralympic Committee members, and contributing to the ongoing development of the European Para Championships across the continent. The shared goal is to host the European Para Championships every four years. Leveraging its affiliations with the International Paralympic Committee and the European Union, the European Paralympic Committee will actively promote the expansion and enhancement of the European Para Championships, not only in upcoming cycles but at least until the 2035 edition. Presently encompassing 10 sports, both the European Paralympic Committee and European Para Championships management envision a broader horizon for the Championships. Aspiring to welcome additional International Federations, if feasible within the concept, in subsequent editions in 2027, 2031, 2035, and beyond.
