A lovely article to mark the end of Ratcliffe's Coal Power Station as the turbines are due to stop later this year, the last operational Coal Power Station in the UK. It has been open since 1968, and I still so often see Ratcliffe mentioned on peoples CVs, from times they worked or attended training courses there.
