Ah, being safe on the open road! It can be quite a challenge out there. Here are ten PTAG safety tips for truckers to help ensure a safe journey: 1. Pre-Trip Inspections: Always conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of your truck, checking brakes, tires, lights, and signals to ensure everything is in working order. 2. Stay Alert: Fatigue can be a trucker's worst enemy. Take regular breaks, get enough sleep, and stay hydrated to maintain focus. 3. Defensive Driving: Be aware of your surroundings and anticipate the actions of other drivers. Always have an escape plan in mind. 4. Proper Loading: Ensure your cargo is evenly distributed and securely fastened to prevent shifting and maintain stability. 5. Adjust Speed: Adapt your speed according to road conditions, weather, and traffic. Slower is often safer, especially in adverse conditions. 6. Use Turn Signals: Always signal your intentions when changing lanes or making turns. It’s vital for communicating with other drivers. 7.
