🌟 Sneak Peek Friday: Highlighting Collaboration in Simulation! 🚀 In this week's episode of Sneak Peek Fridays, we are excited to once more highlight the importance of standardization for smooth collaboration within the simulation ecosystem. This concept is exemplified by our partners at TrianGraphics GmbH, who demonstrate the capabilities of our Persival GmbH #Simspector tool in their featured video. It shows the 3D scene from #Trian3DBuilder exported as glTF and used for Persival's lidar simulation. This perfectly showcases the enhancements of the upcoming #ASAM #OpenMATERIAL standard. 📹 Featured Video Sneak Peek Below! Catch an exclusive sneak peek of the video that will be prominently featured at the 𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗦 & 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 in Stuttgart next week. This event is an excellent opportunity to see first-hand how standardization is enabling seamless collaboration and innovation in the field of automated and autonomous driving technologies. At Persival, we believe that adherence to standards such as #ASAM's #OpenX suite not only promotes interoperability, but also drives the collective progress of the simulation community. Our Simspector tool is a testament to this vision, providing powerful capabilities for analyzing and validating simulation data based on the ASAM OpenSimulationInterface (OSI). Stay tuned for more insights and be sure to check out the full video at Triangraphics' Booth No. 6712, June 4th - 6th, Hall 6, Messe Stuttgart! #SneakPeekFridays #ADASExpo2024 #Simulation #Standardization #Collaboration #PersivalGmbH #Triangraphics #Perception #Sensor #Simulation and #Model #Validation

Leveraging Nautis simulator with generative AI to get one step closer to the singularity 🚢
Captain AI and VSTEP Simulation are revolutionizing Maritime Machine Vision by leveraging the Nautis simulator alongside Generative AI to generate infinite datasets for Machine Vision AI models! This collaboration combines VSTEP's state-of-the-art simulation capabilities with Captain AI's expertise in autonomous navigation and situational awareness, overcoming the traditional data collection methods' limitations such as stereo cameras and LiDAR. While these methods are effective, they often incur high costs, complex setups, and fail to fully capture critical edge cases. This breakthrough is a significantly more cost-effective and scalable alternative to real world data collection. “We're pioneering a method for generating accurate 3D spatial data for single-view cameras” said the CTO Gerard Kruisheer “setting a new benchmark for efficiency and simplicity in data collection”. This advancement will underpin Captain AI’s cutting-edge 3D bounding box detection model which is currently uder development and promises to be future foundation of maritime safety and operational intelligence.

Its exciting to watch Terra AI from Stereolabs take shape on their website! #SpatialAI is finally mature enough for widespread adoption by autonomous robots and they're leading the charge powered by NVIDIA Robotics Jetson boards. As expert roboticists, we recognize the unique challenges inherent with deploying and managing modern AI-based perception systems (doing far more than just 2D detection and segmentation), so having partners like Stereolabs is critical to accelerating your #ROS, #Nav2, or other product to market. I can't wait for a future where Nav2 and autonomy frameworks are managing the standardized outputs of dense and semantic environmental models from #TerraAI and others for our planning, control, behaviors, or even higher level #AI application systems! There will be so much more we can do to make robots safer, more reliable, and more intelligent. Definitely check out the great videos they have there!
