These devices have woven themselves so deeply into the fabric of our existence that they have become inextricable from our lives. The mental toll is profound. We often find ourselves consuming content that isn’t beneficial, leaving us drained and weary. Physically, we squander hours watching reels and videos, engaging with content that often lacks meaning or substance. What began as innocent fun has transformed into a slow poison, subtly sapping our vitality and focus. Even our parents, who once had no idea what Facebook or Instagram was, are now spending significant chunks of their time on these platforms. It’s as if we’ve collectively forgotten how to have real conversations, how to connect without the intermediary of a screen. There was a time when relationships were healthier, when we were not tethered to this digital crutch. We had lives that were rich and varied, unmediated by the constant buzz of notifications and updates.
