As an international PE teacher, I've had the privilege of seeing firsthand how physical activity can transform lives across different cultures and backgrounds. Here are a few insights on why physical education is crucial: Holistic Development: PE contributes to physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It teaches students about teamwork, leadership, and resilience while promoting healthy habits that last a lifetime. Inclusivity and Diversity: Physical education provides a unique opportunity to celebrate diversity and promote inclusivity. By encouraging all students to participate and excel, we help build a more equitable and understanding society. Global Perspective: Incorporating international sports and activities into the curriculum can broaden students' horizons and foster a greater appreciation for different cultures. This global approach enriches their educational experience and prepares them for a connected world. (Lacrosse, cricket, handball, etc.) Lifelong Learning: PE instills a love for movement and physical activity that can stay with students throughout their lives. It's about finding joy in being active, whether through traditional sports, dance, or innovative fitness programs. I'm excited to explore new ways to enrich our PE curriculum and share these experiences with my students. Let's strive to create dynamic, inclusive, and engaging physical education programs that inspire the next generation to lead healthy, active, and fulfilling lives. Together, we can make a lasting impact! #PhysicalEducation #HolisticDevelopment #Inclusivity #GlobalPerspective #LifelongLearning #DiverseClassrooms #PETeacher

Teaching in this new age must include experiential learning, project based outcome, research orientation, outdoor gaming to ensure competition and edutainment (performing art which includes acting, singing, dancing, playing instruments, reciting and socializing to understand human feelings) both for a teacher and student instead of overloaded curriculum. The competency of a teacher & student should be tested on the above before admission. This might lead to a wonderful learning journey with engagement every single moment from KG to PG...
