Good evening Pilots and Cabin Attendants, Did you know that there are local organizations that will take donations of packaged foods that are past the stamped “best by date, or expired on date” to give to local impoverished families? This is so they do not have to choose between eating and paying bills. In Rhode Island we have a non-profit called; Project Hand Up. They serve hundreds of customers per week. When you are provisioning your Jet, removing expired snacks from the storage locker keep these organizations in mind and donate to them instead of just throwing the food away.
