Presales professionals continue to be some of the friendliest folks I meet! 😁 A few weeks ago during #Demofest in San Francisco, I had the opportunity to catch up with Brian Lewis in person. Our schedules may have been hectic, but we finally circled back to have an insightful conversation yesterday, allowing me to delve deeper into what Homerun Presales has to offer. What they've developed is an impressively user-friendly and meticulously designed tool for presales professionals. Their solution serves as a centralized hub for collecting all the essential notes and data points required when working on an opportunity. Plus, with its seamless integration with CRM systems, adding information is easy and doesn't require the SE to spend time in an unfriendly tool. One feature that particularly caught my eye was the dashboard displaying all the opportunities the SE is currently handling, complete with status updates, blockers, and other pertinent information. On the managerial side, there's a tailored view that provides valuable insights into the team's workflow, facilitating the identification of potential challenges before they escalate. During our conversation, Brian generously walked me through the platform, highlighting its various functionalities and capabilities. If you have one main contact person, send the email to him/her and add the others in CC. 2️⃣Subject line Apple x Salesforce: Next steps” Include the name of the company and your company. “ This makes it easy for everybody to find your emails in the inbox (easy to search for), plus it’s personalized. 3️⃣The email body Summarize the important things of the demo. Ideally, it follows the structure of the template: - Summary of Status quo, pains/challenges and desired goal - Summary of capabilities and benefits (how your product helps them) - Additional material like case studies or testimonials - Answers to open questions - Next steps / mutual action plan 4️⃣ The structure As for every email, make sure it’s easy to read/scan.
