About Company:
The company is a prominent manufacturer of specialty chemicals, excipients, and ingredients, operating state-of-the-art manufacturing plants that cater to customized solutions. Producing PEGs and HPMC, while focusing on manufacturing specialty surfactants, emulsifiers, and solubilizers.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of the specialty chemicals, excipients, and ingredients offered by the company.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor products.
2. Sales Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Identify potential customers and markets for specialty chemicals, excipients, and ingredients.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to create effective sales plans.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions through the company's product offerings.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
4. Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and industry developments.
5. Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to customers regarding the application and usage of specialty chemicals, excipients, and ingredients.
6. Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts with customers.
7. Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background:
- A degree in chemical engineering or a related field is preferred. B.Sc /M.Sc (Science) in Chemical Engineering & Materials Science
2. Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of specialty chemicals, ingredients, and their applications in various industries.
3. Sales Skills:
- Proven track record in B2B sales, with an emphasis on relationship-building and achieving sales targets.
4. Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when explaining technical details to non-technical clients.
5. Technical Aptitude:
- Comfort with technical information related to specialty chemicals and ingredients.
