Fascinating read and share Robert Little! It's definitely great to see the resale market grow and driving sustainability in the fashion and retail industry with more younger generation shoppers gravitating towards them. I would also add that this could be ways supply chain can be seen as adding value by creating a new growth channel. However, I would be interested in seeing how brands handle the return process and whether it produces healthy margins for them to continue the re-commerce programs. Returns and reverse logistics are necessarily clean, easy or sustainable all the time. Recovery of product could definitely be a sticking point and even brands don't want to deal with returns to the point they ban customers who return too much. I think it's a balancing act and those that can find an effective solution in recovery and return management will come out with healthier growth in the resale market. #supplychain #logistics #returns #reverselogistics #ecommerce #dtc #resale #fashion #retail #circular #sustainability

How We Helped a Streetwear Brand Overcome Supplier Challenges and Boost Efficiency 🎯 Today, I want to share a success story about our partnership with Crate Clothing, a streetwear brand from New Zealand 🇳🇿. When Crate Clothing first approached us in 2021, they were working with a long-term supplier who had served them well. However, the supplier couldn’t meet their growing need for flexible MOQs (minimum order quantities) across a wide range of SKUs. As a brand with diverse designs, each style had varying order quantities, which made it difficult to meet the supplier’s MOQ requirements. Initially, they were hesitant to change suppliers. But as the market evolved and their needs became more complex, they decided to test us with a 2,000-piece T-shirt order. We completed it in just 7 days from the deposit date. This experience impressed them, and we have been their primary supplier ever since. 🌟 What Made This Partnership Work? Flexible MOQs: We accommodated orders as low as 50 pieces per SKU without compromising on pricing or quality. Fast Turnaround: Even with over 100 SKUs, including clothes and hats, we completed production within one month. Seamless Communication: Quick responses and efficient processes meant they could submit POs and get pricing confirmed quickly, allowing production to start immediately. Flexible Payment Terms: Over time, we offered more adaptable payment options, which enhanced trust and collaboration. Challenges and Solutions Our journey wasn’t without hurdles. In the second order, we made a small mistake due to a detail oversight. However, we responded proactively and provided a solution that strengthened trust rather than damaging it. From that point on, there were no repeat issues. Today, we continue to enjoy a smooth, long-term partnership with Crate Clothing. 🤝 Key Takeaway: Building trust with new customers can be challenging. It’s essential to understand their unique pain points and offer tailored solutions. If your current supplier can’t meet your needs, we’re here to help. Feel free to reach out—we’re ready to provide flexible, reliable solutions for your business! 💬 #ClothingManufacturing #StreetwearBrand #FlexibleMOQ #CustomerSuccess #ApparelProduction #CustomClothing #SupplyChainSolutions #FastProduction #SmallBatchProduction #PartnershipSuccess #NewZealandFashion #ClothingBusiness #TailoredSolutions #FashionManufacturing #SupplierPartnership

Secondhand fashion is experiencing explosive growth. U.S. online fashion resale volume is projected to nearly double by 2026, reaching $23.92 billion, according to eMarketer. This trend extends globally, with the secondhand apparel market expected to hit $350 billion by 2027, growing at a rate three times faster than the overall global apparel market, according to ThredUp. Driving this surge are younger generations—83% of Gen Z have already shopped or are open to shopping for secondhand apparel, with younger generations expected to account for nearly two-thirds of incremental secondhand spend as their purchasing power increases. This shift is not just about budget consciousness; it's a reflection of changing values, with 47% of Gen Z refusing to buy from non-sustainable apparel brands and retailers.
