Philadelphia Phillies’ Post

Earlier today, the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls, along with Asplundh, joined Pennsylvania Horticultural Society volunteers to help unload and distribute 1,200 trees in preparation for this weekend’s city-wide tree planting. A portion of the trees were tagged with names of the team’s top home run hitters this season, as part of the Phillies Home Runs for Trees program, in partnership with PHS and supported by Asplundh.   Fun fact: More than 2,200 trees have been planted through this partnership since the Phillies Home Runs for Trees program began. 🌲
