As October rolls in, it’s the perfect time to refresh your home with some seasonal organization. Begin by focusing on your closet. With the change in weather, swap out your summer wardrobe for cozy fall layers. Declutter by keeping only what you love and donate the rest. Use vertical storage solutions and don’t forget to utilize the space under your bed for seasonal items or extra storage. Extend your organizing efforts to the kitchen and living room. Clear out expired pantry items and set up designated spots for seasonal décor. Take it one area at a time, and your home will be ready for the holiday season! #AbsouluteOrganizing #OctoberOrganization #SeasonalDecluttering #FallRefresh #ClosetCleanout #OrganizedHome #FallCleaning #UnderBedStorage

I am reaching out in hopes that you and your business/organization will want to be part of the MAGICAL and HEART-WARMING 3rd annual December to Remember/ Holiday Light Competition Community Event on December 21, 2024. This is FREE marketing for your business or organization. I would like to extend a little holiday friendly competition. This event is about Family, Memories, Love, Community, The Spirit of Christmas, and so much more. We would like to encourage all businesses/organizations to partake in a holiday light competition. The past 2 years I held this amazing event in Prince William County, but this year I am honored to bring it to Chantilly. So, this is how it works, you and your team will come and pick out an area that you would like to decorate in lights and decorations. The area will be marked off for you and you must have your area decorated by 12/20/24. On 12/21/24 we will have the actual December to Remember event (this is also when all the lights come on) which is a magical evening and filled with the warmth of the holiday spirit on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year. Participants will step into their favorite Christmas movies, ride the Trackless Train thru the Grand Illumination of Lights, enjoy live performances, crafts, games and MORE...We are lighting up the night in honor and in memory of those with dementia and the ones that we have lost from the disease. This event is FREE and a RSVP only event. The Alzheimer's Association will be on site accepting donations from the public. Your light displays will be judged by our residents, their families, our team, and the community/public as part of the big event which will be held on December 21, 2024, from 6PM-8PM. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as prizes for each decorating team. If you want to be a part of this, you MUST let me know by November 21, 2024. I will have signs made that says, “sponsored by (insert company name and logo)” and they will be placed by your light display. I will also have a banner made that will be displayed on our fence that faces Route 50 with all those who helped make this event a success (sponsors names and logos). Just to clarify, when I say sponsor, all that is required is picking a space, and decorating it. Last year for our first event, there were 300 RSVP’s from the community where I put on this event and there was print media coverage. I am working on not just print coverage this year but also television coverage. So come be a part of giving back to the community/public and help up us LIGHT UP THE NIGHT! Warm Regards, Michelle Mindock, CDP Admissions Director Chantilly Heights 3925 Downs Drive | Chantilly, VA 20151 tel: 703-810-3992 cell: 703-498-0588 mmindock@chantillyheights.com
