🟢 Dr David's Green Nugget Advisory Tip 🟢 I have been on the road, engaging with investors, thought leaders, and innovators at numerous conferences and networking events. I brought back a treasure trove of insights, including our top 5 "Green Nuggets" from these experiences. In our 1st video, I address a common misconception among founders: the belief that asking for help is a sign of weakness or that they can manage everything on their own. If someone who has had the experience and walked the path you're on offers thoughts, tips, and advice, be open to that feedback! Even if it doesn't apply to you now, you never know when what they say will be useful. How does the phrase go? You're never too cool for school! Stay tuned for more Green Nuggets Dr. David brought back from all the conferences and conversations this past month. Always remember that achieving greatness is a collaborative activity. Let’s achieve it together! #StartupLife #Entrepreneurship #Founders #capitalraising #investorrelations #venturecapital #GrowthMindset

"Regardless, as an individual with an interest in being an entrepreneur, if you are not collaborating and competing, you are not growing your business or social venture." "A good mentor and a good market niche are often better predictors of entrepreneurial success than a person’s ability to develop compelling contest packets or highly charged pitch presentations." These quotes resonate deeply with me this week on my journey as a venture builder and business analyst. I successfully completed my course on discovering entrepreneurship, gaining a deeper understanding of its crucial role in the economy. The course covered several key aspects, including identifying entrepreneurial opportunities, creating business plans, crafting compelling vision and mission statements, competitive analysis, and pitching techniques. We also delved into leadership and business structures, particularly within private companies. I'm excited about the many lessons yet to come on this journey. The insights I've gained so far have been invaluable, and I'm eager to continue learning and growing. #Entrepreneurship #VentureBuilding #BusinessAnalysis #Leadership #LearningJourney #EntrepreneurialSuccess

Entrepreneurship is a journey that teaches us, challenges us, and ultimately empowers us to grow in unexpected ways. Reflecting on this journey with Monica Martinez over nearly nine years of building EduDream, there’s one lesson that stands above the rest: community carries you all the way, even when you don’t think you’ll make it out in one piece. When we first started EduDream, we were eager, determined, and overworking ourselves to prove the value of partnering with us. During that time, the support of networks like Catalyst:Ed’s BIPOC coalition-building cohort (ARC Collaborative) provided those needed connections with other entrepreneurs and founders. These relationships laid the foundation for the community that has moved us forward. Fast forward to today, and we remain committed to nurturing and expanding this network. Programs like Matterlab's Membership Experience, which focuses on executive communication, have provided valuable learning opportunities not just from their team of experts but also from other leaders facing similar questions about leadership and growth. As an entrepreneur, a Latina, a mom, and a business owner, I'm taking this notion of community with me as we move into the new year and new administration. #EntrepreneurDay #SmallBusiness #LatinaOwned

An Unforgettable Experience: My First Pitching Event! Over the last three days, I had the incredible opportunity to pitch my idea for the first time in a high-energy, collaborative environment. Here’s how the journey unfolded: Day 1: Generating Ideas To form a team with a unified vision, we started by creating a skit to present our idea to colleagues. This was our way of sharing our passion and gaining early support. Day 2: Crafting the Idea We spent the day refining our deck, gaining a deeper understanding of how to effectively communicate the value of our idea to potential investors. It was all about mastering the "how" and "why" behind the pitch. Day 3: Making the Sale With only three minutes to pitch in front of real investors, we fine-tuned our presentation to be concise and impactful. The pressure was on, but it was an exhilarating experience. One major lesson I learned is that while a good pitcher identifies the problem, a great one talks about the problem, solution, market, competitors, and evidence. But the best pitchers? They weave all of that into a compelling story that resonates. I’m incredibly grateful to my mentors David Bachowski Dan Greco for their guidance also my team mates Prachi Jaiswal Nimisha Nooti Nidhi Tailor for their support. Thank you Hadar Borden for organizing an amazing event Looking forward to what’s next on this exciting journey! #Pitching #Entrepreneurship #StartupJourney #InvestorPitch #Innovation #Leadership #Storytelling #GrowthMindset

I'm officially a founder When I started an eight-month business management and development training with Aspilos Foundation’s “The Dukiya Project”, I had no idea what to expect. I came in with skills but no business—surrounded by people already building theirs. On that first day, I felt both inspired and a little overwhelmed. The program covered everything: business development, the business clinic, mentorship, pitching, and networking. However the mentorship phase was my turning point. My mentor helped me realize how I could turn my skills into a thriving business, and by the end of that mentorship, “Vica Hub” was born—a digital marketing hub dedicated to helping MSMEs gain online visibility with ease. One of the biggest highlights was the pitching and networking event. Listening to other founders pitch their projects, and presenting my own gave me new insights and solidified my vision. For the first time, I felt certain of my path forward. Starting VICA HUB Hub has been both empowering and challenging, and I’m excited to support small businesses on their journey to greater online visibility. Here’s to new beginnings, and to the incredible journey ahead with Vica Hub! Dear founders and CEOs, any advice for a newbie? #Entrepreneurship #BusinessJourney #VicaHub #DigitalMarketing #MSMEs #TheDukiyaProjet #vicahub
