𝐀𝐧𝐲 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭? A few clues: 🏛️ It's in the same region as yesterday's post... 🏛️ There's an old man involved in the name 🏛️ It rains a LOT here... which is why the area has so many lakes! Yes, well done if you guessed - it's near the Old Man of Coniston, in the Lake District. As the weather is not making landscape photography very easy this week I'm pulling out some of the shots of the area I'm in this week, shot one summer when the temperatures in the UK were behaving themselves! 😁 This old hut may have been a shepherd hut back in its day... the tractor was still in quite good condition, and given the climb up the hill, I'd say well done to the farmer who used it up there. I did some experimentation with the edit of this shot, using a tool called SilverEfex Pro which does amazing things to enhance contrast and shadows, as well as enabling beautiful edits in black-and-white. I do like to retain some colour in my landscape images, so this one has retained the greenery of the tree and some colours in the sky. However SIlverEfex Pro is really effective in enhancing structures, so it's one to look out for if you're keen to photograph buildings 👍. Are you a photographer who's used SilverEfex Pro? What do you use it for? And what do you think might be inside this building? Pop your ideas in a comment below! 😊

GREAT ADVICE TIP! You know what's coming -- snow, cold, mud, rain, bare trees, and generally un-photogenic landscapes. So, if you're thinking of listing your home in the winter, spring, or even early summer of 2023, you must get your home photography taken now. Homes show so much better when there is natural light beaming through the windows, leaves on the trees, and lush landscaping in the yard. If you still have some cleaning and decluttering to do inside your home, or if you want to wait until after the holiday season to depersonalize your home, we can get your photography scheduled and be ready to make the best first impression on your future buyers. 🤩 #homelisting #homeselling #homeseller #homesellertip #homesellingtip #realestate #realestatephotography #realestatetips #realestateexpert

If you are thinking of putting your home on the market anytime ahead of 2025, this summer is a great time to take listing photos to show your home in the best light and to get ahead. Taking listing photos now provides several key advantages to help you sell your home faster later on, including: ☀ Natural Light: Summer days offer longer hours of natural light, which professional photographers can leverage to create bright and inviting photos. This makes rooms appear more spacious and highlights details that might be hidden in darker winter photos. ☀ Outdoor Spaces: Summer allows you to highlight your home's outdoor living areas like patios, decks, or pools in all their glory. Lush green landscapes and blooming flowers create a visually appealing backdrop for potential buyers who dream of summer entertaining. ☀ Seasonal Appeal: Summer photos can stand out from a crowd of listings featuring bare trees and dreary winter landscapes. A bright and inviting summer photo can grab attention and entice potential buyers to learn more about your property. By capturing your home at its most visually appealing state and focusing on a bright, summery feel, your listing photos can grab attention and entice potential buyers in any season. #RealEstate #Photography #SummerListingTips #HomeSelling

🍂 Why You Should Take Listing Photos Before Fall 🍂 📸 As the vibrant colors of fall begin to take over, it’s a great time to think about your home’s listing photos! Here are a few reasons why capturing those images now is crucial: 💡Crisp and Clear Lighting: Early fall offers beautiful, natural lighting that can enhance the appeal of your home. Take advantage of those golden hours! 🌲Lush Landscapes: Before the leaves start to fall and grass and plants begin to die off, your garden and landscaping will look their best. Showcase your outdoor spaces in their full glory! 🥀 Avoiding Dying Foliage: Waiting too long can mean dealing with brown grass and wilted plants, which won’t make the best impression on potential buyers. 💎 Time for Marketing: Listing photos are the first impression buyers have. Taking them now allows ample time for marketing, ensuring your property stands out. 🛒 Avoiding the Holiday Rush: Fall quickly transitions into the holiday season. Listing your home now means you won’t miss potential buyers before the holidays. Ready to capture your home’s beauty before the fall season is in full swing? In The End As a landscape photographer, I love to compose my images in such a way that elements can separate easily from each other. It makes the composition much easier to read. That image is a good example of that… I have photographed Bow Lake and Crowfoot Mountain countless times in every seasons. It is a truly striking place. Crowfoot Mountain has a very distinct pyramid shape from that angle which simplifies the background by a mile. But the foreground can be really chaotic. Of course, if you have a perfect reflection, no need to worry too much about foreground. For some reasons, I was never really lucky with reflections there. I love that composition with the cute little creek guiding our eyes straight to the mountain. The issue I have with that location in general is the abundance of green vegetation. When everything is green, you can’t really make sense of anything. You can’t separate the pine trees from the vegetation…for a very short time frame in fall season, all the low bushes, moss patches and plants will turn into the most vibrant shades of gold. And it doesn’t last very long! I think I captured it beautifully here at sunset! This was a pure fall season dream! Captured with my @canoncanada EOS R5 and RF 15-35mm f2.8 at 23mm, 1/5 second, f11 and ISO 100. #dantyartphotography #shotoncanon #naturelover_gr #hikingbangers #amongthewild #roamtheplanet #hikingtheglobe #special_shots #jaw_dropping_shots #earthpix #depthofearth #earth_shotz #earth_shotz #alpscape #welivetoexplore #imagesofcanada #tourcanada #explorecanada #heartofcanada #canada_photolovers #canadavisuals #cangeo #canada #livelovecanada #travelalberta #albertacanada #discoveralberta
