Reflecting on Remembrance Day Today is a day that carries a profound significance, particularly for those of us who have served. As an ex-service member, Remembrance Day isn’t simply a date on the calendar; it’s a solemn reminder of friends, shared hardships, and the true weight of service. It’s a day to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice, who went where others could not, and to remember the families who bore their own sacrifices at home. Service instils values that never fade—courage, loyalty, resilience. These aren’t just words; they’re principles we carry with us long after we’ve hung up the uniform. For me, Remembrance Day is about embodying those values and paying tribute to the lessons we learned alongside our comrades. It’s about striving to be worthy of the sacrifices made by so many before us and those still serving today. As we pause to reflect, I encourage everyone to take a moment to recognise the commitment and service of others, whether in uniform or in their communities. Let’s remember, let’s learn, and let’s carry forward the ideals that unite us. #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #HonouringService #UKVeterans

This is absolutely SPECTACULAR and takes courage! The head Coach of the Boston Celtics absolutely STUNNED a reporter. He redirected the question to focus instead on what he believes is the *most* oppressed group in America: Christians. Needless to say, the reporters were left speechless. WATCH and repost for widespread exposure! #thinblueline #lawenforcement

On June 6, 1944, thousands of men stormed the beaches of Normandy during World War II. By nightfall, about 175,000 Allied troops and 50,000 vehicles were ashore with nearly a million more men on the way that summer. The Normandy invasion was one of the great turning points of 20th-century history. An immense army was placed in Nazi-occupied Europe, never to be dislodged. Unfortunately, with war comes casualties. Approximately 135,000, including 29,000 killed and 106,000 were wounded or missing. The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France is located in Colleville-sur-Mer, on the site of the temporary American St. Laurent Cemetery, established by the U.S. First Army on June 8, 1944, as the first American cemetery on European soil in World War II. The cemetery site, at the north end of its half-mile access road, covers 172.5 acres and contains the graves of 9,386 of our military dead, most of whom lost their lives in the D-Day landings and ensuing operations. On the Walls of the Missing, in a semicircular garden on the east side of the memorial, are inscribed 1,557 names. Rosettes mark the names of those since recovered and identified. Today, we remember and memorialize those who gave their lives 79 years ago on those beaches and never got the chance to return home to their families and loved ones. JLP40 was the culmination of 7 years of hard work, dedication, and a relentless pursuit to help transform families nationwide through our highly skilled and passionate veteran community. @senatorjacquilambie is now a part of the @veteranmentors family due to our shared values, military background, and shared passion for this country’s youth. Leadership comes in many forms, from delegating to hard work and setting an example. Jacqui’s leadership is like no other. To have one of the most popular Australian Senators spend 9 days on the program and take the washing burden off the mentors was a very surreal moment and one the team will never forget. Seventy kids’ uniforms and PT clothes washed daily, plus all 24 of the staff, meant she was up at 0530 working on the program and working well past 0100 every night washing without missing out on her picquet. When asked to abseil by a participant, even though it was clear her back was giving her misery like all us vets, she pushed through regardless. That was an experience she wasn’t going to deny this participant, regardless of any pain or discomfort. Find me one other Senator that would do this and put herself through such discomfort just to bond with the veteran community and transform the lives of children on the frontlines. Jacqui, I am honored to have served alongside you those last 9 days, and the whole crew at Veteran Mentors looks at you as a sister. The amazing reputation you have and work ethic is really second to none. A true Aussie hero. One of many magical moments is when Jacqui listened to Caitlin’s story around the fire the same story she shared with the Royal commission into veteran suicide which will be apart of Jacqui’s legacy. #rsl #youthdevelopment #youthprogram #youthcrime #youthmentalhealth #youthempowerment #youthwork #veterans #veteranmentors #youthempowerment #youthengagement #youthleadership #youthwork #youthleadership #anxietyawareness #anxietytherapy #anxietytreatment #depression #depressiontreatment #selfcare #selfesteem #veteranshelpingveterans #veteranownedbusiness #veterancommunity Jacqui Lambie

Just a handful of the lies told by israeli genocidal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his speech at US Congress: ○ israel has taken more precautions to avoid harming civilians than ANY military in history, beyond what international law requires. ○ Hamas burnt babies on 7 October. ○ Hamas killed 1,200 israelis on 7 October. ○ Iran is funding anti-israel protests in the USA. ○ Anti-israel protests call for the genocide of Jews. ○ israel does not deliberately target civilians. ○ Practically no civilians were killed in Rafah. ○ Hamas is stealing all the humanitarian aid that enters Gaza. ○ Jerusalem is the eternal capital of israel.

Advocacy Determination Getting things done in advocacy and government requires determination, just like Rear Admiral Walter Hose's journey founding the Royal Canadian Navy. His legacy exemplifies the resilience needed to drive change despite significant challenges. "In hard times, neither politics, lack of money, nor ridicule could stop the determination and courage of this officer." This quote underscores the importance of strength in navigating complex public policy issues. Whether initiating new endeavors or protecting what is yours, Walter Hose's determination remains relevant today. Understanding the arc of acceptance in public policy environments is crucial. Similar to Admiral Hose, all encounter political, financial, and social obstacles. However, it's the unwavering spirit of perseverance that propels us forward in progress. The monument commemorating Rear Admiral Walter Hose stands tall in the beautiful Point Pleasant Park, Halifax, Nova Scotia. #Advocacy #GovernmentRelations #Determination #PublicPolicyWins #WalterHose #Leadership

It's true. The government isn't here to save you. And they shouldn't be. Our Founding Fathers wanted a limited government so you could be free to pursue greatness on your terms. Find your own way in the world. Build connections within your community and relationships. the idea was that by connecting with one another, we could help each other our in times of need and not need to rely on a government. It's time to become more self-reliant as Americans. Learn to do things for yourself. Take responsibility for your life and those you love. Plan ahead. Build trust and relationships with like-minded people. The government will only inhibit your freedoms, not enhance them! So take care of your own business and learn something new everyday! #georgewashington #foundingfathers #freedom #selfreliance #washington #government #america #americanmade #believeinyourself #dia #diaeveryday #diamindset #goafteryourdreams #journey #pathfinder #personalgrowth #resilience #putyourselffirst #selfrespect #usa #veterans #veteranowned
