Math is greener than chemistry. I used this statement as the guiding principle during my lecture at RAFA 2024, where I presented our recently published findings on using NIRS paired with ASCA to study annual and regional influences on Austrian wheat composition. In my talk, I particularly emphasized the potential of chemometric tools in advancing green analytical chemistry. This was my second time attending RAFA, and once again, the event exceeded my expectations. I had interesting discussions, left with many new ideas, and enjoyed the beauty of Prague.
