I don't know how I missed this chat gpt feature but it's too good not to share. Got a spreadsheet contact list that needs to be cleaned? Upload it to chat gpt and tell it what to do. Capitalize names, fix the ALL CAPS cells, remove numbers from cells they don't belong in, delete "llc" and "inc" after company names.... A 1500 line - super messy - list took me 10 mins of telling chat gpt what to do. That would have been (has been many times in the past) 2-3 hours manually.

The use cases for GPTs seem endless, and while that’s exciting, it can also be overwhelming. Today we're breaking down how we approach GPT ideation, giving you some really practical examples of things you can start using them for today. GPT ideation = coming up with the ideas of what work tasks you want to save into your own personal space on ChatGPT. A space that is completely controlled by you - you can train it to write like you, 'think' like you, and sound like you.  GPT's are secure, so all the info you upload stays safe.  If you ask us - GPTs are a key feature that you can't get anywhere else. Not on wonderful Claude. No way Gemini. And not really on Copilot. So dig right in. And don’t forget, our inbox is always open if you need to chat!

This is super interesting. I'm not 100% sure it isn't the AI version of horoscopes but the below prompt returned some interesting personal reflections. I'm guessing the great mind in the cloud has reviewed my online profile and... 1. It recognises that I know where I want to get to, that I have the experience to get there and that clients think my proposal is of benefit. 2. It also identifies that like many freelancers my main challenge is attracting new clients and securing enough projects - not going to lie it's a worry right now... 3. It has given me some problems to focus on, namely; i) better positioning what I do and the value I offer ii) identifying and getting in front of decision makers iii) holding myself back through some internal barriers - which may well be true but I am really active in that space and starting to develop a 10x mindset iv) not being strategically consistent - which is I think is cyber corporate speak for not shouting about what I want enough - for clarity that is adding loads of value to clients on their internal events like conferences and awards - love a bit of staff engagement It is clever this little prompt and offers some next steps, being; 1. Get trusted by budget holders 2. Stand out from the crowd, which of course is obvious but needed 3. Promote my versatility and flexibility as a freelancer compared to a 'big' event agency and; 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. An 'aha' moment for the way a teaching-learning experience in a DP class reflects the use of Chat GPT as a tool of differentiation. Me: Let's discuss the difference between a soliloquy and a monologue. Class: Ummm. Still confused. Me: (an idea strikes) Let's see what Chat GPT has to say of the difference. (An example of how the tool can be used in real time is intended in front of the class.) One student: (After reading the generated response.) I still don't get it. Can you use the prompt-explain the difference for a nine year old? Me: Oh. Ok. (A bit taken aback but still curious to see how Chat GPT would respond to it.) Me: (Enters the prompt.) Outcome? The response is so simplified and effective that the difference is crystal clear in everybody's mind. Me: Amazed and takes delight in the accidental discovery that's engaging, fun, and collaborative!
