Have you ever tried crafting a personal identity, not just your brand identity🤔
See this scenario
Two children were asked who stole money from a bag.
The first child said I didn't steal it, while the other said I don't steal.
What's the difference between these two children statements?
Can you think about it?
Creating an identity for yourself is declaring the kind of person you're or want to become
(which shows in your personality and your values)
Even if you have not fully become that kind of person, you can update your identity in that area and declare it as much as possible, both in public and in private.
It may not completely make sense, but as you say it loudly to yourself, you begin to adjust yourself to becoming that person.
That's why you need to set goals from the standpoint of becoming, because as you see yourself in that light working towards it will be much easier.
For instance, rather than saying
🔻i'm working on how to spend money
🔻Say I'm or I want to become a judicious investor. That way, you begin to see yourself in that light.
Happy mid week!
