Signifyd's State of Fraud and Abuse Report is out! Did you notice a slight change in the title? YES! First-party fraud & abuse is on the rise, and it’s hitting merchants hard 🚨🚨🚨 The latest trends we saw while compiling the data for this report reveals some alarming trends: 📈 63% of merchants have reported an increase in first-party fraud in the past 12 months. ⚠️ 48% of merchants say refund and policy abuse is now a top threat. ⚡ 45% view first-party fraud as one of the most significant risks to their businesses. Traditional payment fraud remains a key concern, and Signifyd's data shows fraud pressure is only intensifying.
