Belonging isn’t just something you can layer onto a tech platform — it has to be a fundamental part of everything you build. When someone comes to Pinterest looking for plus-sized fashion or hairstyles for Black women, they shouldn’t have to work hard to find what they need. Our content should reflect those who use the platform. That’s why we started listening, learning and collaborating with our community to make Pinterest more inclusive. We’ve made great strides towards building a platform where everyone feels seen, valued and included in the content they discover. But there’s more work to do—and we are committed to the journey. I was honored to discuss the importance of representation and more at ADCOLOR Conference and Awards 2024 with Ruth Umoh, Lola Bakare and Naeemah LaFond! #ADCOLOR2024 #TechInclusion #ProductDevelopment #DiversityInTech
I love this so much! It's such a valuable conversation, and I couldn’t agree more as a longtime Pinterest girlie and products person.
Love the snip I got to see. I have been a long time lover of Pinterest, and appreciate that attention the company gives to it's users! Serving up relevant content is important to feel like you belong, to stay engaged and to share! Thank you Doniel! 💚

1wLove this! Belonging isn’t a feature—it’s a mindset, and you nailed it with how deeply it’s woven into Pinterest’s approach. Your commitment to listening and collaborating with your community is the kind of intentionality more platforms need!
