To meet our clients' needs quickly, we have strategically placed equipment in key markets along the West African coast, including Angola, Nigeria, and Congo. As C-PINS is compact and only requires a simple calibration, the equipment can be placed in-country for the entire duration of a multi-year contract with minimal to no standby rates. By mobilizing full inertial metrology equipment spreads ahead of time, we can seamlessly transition between projects. For instance, in Nigeria, we recently executed back-to-back campaigns for two different major operators on short notice. Our survey team was able to quickly move to a new vessel, utilizing the equipment that was already deployed in-country. This proactive approach reduces logistics and preparation time, providing a commercial advantage by responding to short lead time requests. It was an honour to present at the ICoTA Europe (Intervention & Coiled Tubing Association) conference last week on behalf of the Wells Task Force, the Reservoir and Wells Optimisation Team (RWOT) and the volunteers in the 'DHSV working group' from across the industry. It was lovely challenge to stand up in front of the collected intervention experts and tell them that we should be doing LESS interventions. The growing problem of addressing the DHSV system is the North Sea's most common intervention behind scale inhibitor squeezes & tree/wellhead repairs. The collaboration has already been rewarded and the future goals of the group are 1 – Understanding what are the root causes & common failures for the system  2 – Highlighting good practice to maintain and improve system reliability 3 – Engaging all stakeholders and highlighting what can be risk assessed within the existing guidance to save interventions and for a few cases; operate wells without DHSVs.. After a highly competitive technical evaluation between our XRF technique and other techniques for low-range sulfur detection, I am thrilled to announce the successful installation of the Sindie R1 from XOS (X-Ray Optical Systems) in one of ADNOC Group central laboratories. The customer faced the challenge of detecting low ppm levels of sulfur without relying on gases for operation or using bulky hardware in their lab. They also required an easy-to-use solution that delivers fast results, complies with approved ASTM methods, and meets product standards. Our #Sindie Series offers unparalleled #lowrange #sulfur detection in hydrocarbons and water, with detection limits below 1 ppm. This instrument eliminates the need for sample preparation, injection setup, or gases for operation, making it a true plug-and-play solution. This installation marks our first collaboration with this ADNOC’s central lab, a prestigious reference in the region.
