Greg’s thought of the day!
I didn’t have time!
What does this really mean?
We hear and often say that we didn’t have time to do something. The truth is that we didn’t yet allocate time to do that task, as we all have the same time available, it’s just how we prioritise it, to what is achieved, and what isn’t.
In our life, we have the same time, each week, month and year as others, so what are you doing with yours?
It is up to you, how you spend your time, and that shows where your priorities lie.
Choose according to an actual importance level, that bases the task, with the consequences of it not being done, both to you, or others.
So once determining the consequences of a task not being done, or not completely or properly, we can allocate time accordingly, making sure the important tasks are done first.
Just because you have a full plate, doesn’t mean the next task rolling in has to wait, as it may have a higher priority , based upon consequences.
Keep re-assessing your day/week /month, to do what’s really important, and not just on what you like.
Life will then become more organised, and you’ll be amazed how much other time gets freed up accordingly.
Your life
Your time
Your day
Choose and prioritise wisely
