Ever wondered how the release command works on the NX series safety switch? 🤔 Although the switch is equipped with a bistable electromagnet, it uses a “power-ON released” command logic. This enables safe opening of doors only with voltage detected at inputs IE1 and IE2 of the device. A scenario that illustrates this system more clearly is that of a CS AM module used for motor standstill monitoring with an NX series interlocking device connected to it to release the doors on a piece of machinery. 1️⃣ A request is made to open the doors of the machine while it is operational 2️⃣ The module detects the value of residual voltage that the motor generates through inertia in the machine stopping phase 3️⃣ As soon as the module detects that the residual voltage falls below the set threshold, it activates the safety outputs and feeds voltage to inputs IE1 and IE2 of the NX switch 4️⃣ Having detected the voltage at the inputs, the actuator of the NX device releases and allows safe opening of the doors on the machine Contact us now for detailed technical specifications of the NX series! https://lnkd.in/dKDe5nei #safety #industrialautomation #machinery #manufacturing
