PJ taste’s Post

As it's #InternationalWomenDay we wanted to start by celebrating the amazing women who work for PJ taste. They're a truly fabulous group of people and we wouldn't be anything like we are without them. We're grateful for you all every day and know that our customers are too! With that in mind, it felt right to also begin to give all of you the opportunity to #meettheteam beginning with our top apprentice (although she's nearly finished!) Alice. You may recognise her from the phone, email and some of you lucky people will have also seen her out on deliveries. Alice is (as far as we're concerned) top notch and we're thankful for everything she's done for PJ taste. From her customer support and being the central pillar up in the office we wouldn't be as good without her. Who am I and where am I from? I’m Alice – I’m originally a southerner (Northampton) but moved up to Sheffield when I was 1! How long have I been part of the team at PJ taste and what is my role? I’ve been at PJ for 1 year 5 months and I’m the administration apprentice. Whilst administration is a large part of my role, you’ll probably recognise my name from taking orders (and your invoices) and you may see me out and about on events and deliveries. I also jump into the kitchen to lend a hand when I’m needed! No two days at PJ taste are the same!! What aspect of my work do I enjoy most? Getting big bookings and being able liaise with the client and follow them through. Heading out on the road and seeing our customers and getting their feedback and realising what I do makes a difference to the company. What is my favourite food/dish/recipe? My favourite dish is curry, I love any types of curries…cooking, eating it all makes me happy. What is something people may not know about me? I am a Sheffield Steelers fan and a season ticket holder; I never miss a home match. #pjtaste #sheffield #sheffieldfood #sheffieldevents #sheffieldcaterer #sheffood #sheffieldissuper #catering #localproduce #sheffieldsteelers
