Our team in Finland participated in World Children's Day by hosting "Children's Day at Work." This nationwide initiative is designed to bridge the gap between children and the professional world, allowing them to explore various careers, understand societal roles, and gain valuable insights into adult life. At our Kempele facility, we have embraced this initiative for several years. Each time, we open our doors to the children of our team members, giving them an opportunity to see the intricate process of wiring harness production up close. This initiative not only provides valuable insights into our work but also strengthens the bond with the youngest members of the Motherson family. Learning from the Cluster Head at Motherson Group As part of our Organizational Behavior assignment, our team BHARATH RAJ JOE MARIAM J Ashwini C Marlin Mantro Varsha Paramesh Santhana Lakshmi E and I recently had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Siddharthan Mahadevan the Cluster Head - HR and Admin at Motherson Group. It was insightful to learn that, contrary to common belief, production is rarely impacted by employees' emotions; instead, disruptions are typically due to machinery faults. During our discussion about the assembly department, we observed that production tends to start slower on Mondays as employees ease back into the work rhythm after the weekend. However, the team's motivation and commitment to achieving their monthly targets help ensure that production remains on track. 🛞Wheels matter, students matter, innovations matter! 🦾 On November 7th, we at Maxion Wheels had the pleasure of hosting a visit from Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze for a business challenge. 👩🎓 It started as a simple idea during a discussion with their professor about what we could offer the students here at Maxion and the first "drafts" were speaking about HR bingo or finance quiz. Little did I know then, that our colleagues would get so wonderfully and inspiringly involved, leading to the creation of some truly fascinating case studies. 🙌 The students first toured our aluminium wheels production, from the foundry to the final inspection, where they followed the journey of creating our wheels. On final inspection they got a hands-on experience as final inspection operators which our colleagues from quality walked them through.💪 We then set up the business challenge for them covering topics such as logistics, HR and sales. Since the students had only about an hour and a half to go through the case studies and prepare the presentations, we honestly didn´t expect much... but they absolutely amazed all of us with their results!👏 Witnessing their creativity, team work and problem-solving skills in action was truly inspiring. It reminded me why I love organizing these events - transforming a simple idea into a remarkable experience that brings learning and innovation to life. After 5.3 years, the time has arrived to bid farewell to Bosch I have been blessed with good luck to work with some of the brightest minds as my colleagues who provided ample opportunity for my learning and growth. Reflecting on my journey, I realize that there's no better way I could have spent these years than being a part of Bosch’s incredible journey. In the last 5.3 years I had the opportunity to learn many things from my leaders and colleagues. I want to callout some of those learnings: * The greatest learning often occurs during life's most challenging phases. * If you are able to find one thing that you truly care about and stick to that then success will follow you eventually. * Focusing less on your weaknesses and more on your strengths usually produces better results. Treat others as you wish to be treated; respect begets respect. * Honesty is vital for building trust and fostering a safe, open environment. * In many situations, asking questions is more beneficial than giving advice. Thanks to all of my colleagues for making my time at Bosch Global Software Technologies remarkably fruitful. Amidst the highs and lows, I depart with profound contentment, a strong sense of belonging, and joy!

This month marks my first 100 days in my new role as member of the board of management at Bosch and I must say, time flew by incredibly fast. I am already feeling right at home - thanks to everyone who made my start so seamless.🙏 It's been an incredible journey filled with many 'firsts'. From the initial introductions to getting to know so many new people and quickly absorbing a vast amount of knowledge, these first days were both exciting and inspiring. Overall, I can say: It feels really good to be at Bosch and part of the team. Whenever I dive into a new responsibility, my top priority is always listening to all my dedicated new colleagues and build relationships with them. This is even more true now that I am not only new to this position but also new to the company. I want to learn what motivates our team, our strengths, areas where we can improve, and how we can achieve our goals together. What has impressed me most so far is the high level of motivation and commitment of all the experts and stakeholders I have the privilege of working with. Their passion and relentless commitment to excellence is truly motivating.💪 And what’s next? Now is the time to fine-tune our future direction. Together. Nevertheless, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride in what we have achieved so far. This gives me confidence that we’re more than capable of overcoming any challenges ahead. As I look back on the first 100 days, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the warm welcome and support I have received. I’m really excited for the opportunities ahead and can’t wait to keep moving forward with our incredible team at Bosch: Let’s create solutions truly #InventedforLife that are accessible for as many people as possible, spark enthusiasm, improve quality of life, and help to globally enable the energy transition. In a world that often compels women to conform, many choose to carve their own paths. This International Women’s Day, we engaged in dialogue with four remarkable associates from Bosch manufacturing plants, who shared their inspiring journeys. While manufacturing was and continues to be regarded as a “male-dominated” field of employment, our #BoschWomen who defy these stereotypes by excelling in the industry are super-women in their own rights. Meet Sayeed Path Beevi, operator of the electronic throttle body line at Bosch’s Gangaikondan plant in Tamil Nadu, which has 80% female associates at the shopfloor. When Beevi joined the plant 5 years ago, she was overwhelmed by the vast new world of manufacturing that had opened up before her eyes. Through persistent training and skill development sessions, a young Beevi watched her confidence and interpersonal skills improve exponentially in the course of a few months. The practice of Kaizen – a Japanese philosophy rooted in continuous improvement exercises a strong influence on the work culture at the plant. “I am considered a star at the plant when it comes to implementing this practice. When it comes to checking for quality issues, I always volunteer to propose solutions or identify best practices that can be adapted,” she said. According to Beevi, the plant has turned into a second home, with each colleague being a member of her family. They make it a point to regularly check in on her even beyond the professional walls that separate them. “When my colleagues recently awarded me with the ‘Social Butterfly’ title, I felt like an actual butterfly who had grown wings during her time here,” she recollects with a smile.
