Integrated short-circuit insulator (SCI) One of the requirements of NFPA 72 is that Class X loops have the redundancy of communication between the detector and the system and are fault tolerant for short circuit, ground fault and open circuit. Still, it has been specifically designed for use in hazardous areas and is ATEX, IECEx and FM certified. It is the ideal solution for gas flow measurement in hazardous areas, whether as a temporary replacement for a stationary flowmeter, for check metering or service operations. Due to its certification, users are no longer required to obtain a Hot Work Permit, making access to ATEX, IECEx and FM zones much easier and less time-consuming.
